Scandor are seeking a Landscape Construction Foreperson to join this BALI National Award-winning commercial landscaping company on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the company undertaking a wide range of hard and soft landscape construction projects for public sector and commercial clients. The company generally works within a tight geographical area usually travelling within an hour of our depot and offices at Colden Common. As a Foreperson you will be leading and working within a small team in order to complete projects to specification and too a high standard.

This role requires the Landscaping Foreperson to lead a small team and ensure the best performance and quality of work is carried out at all times. We welcome applications from those looking to progress to the next level and may not currently be in this position.

Working with the contract Manager to schedule works to deliver the contract specification fulfilling the client’s needs.

Provide a responsive and professional service on site, dealing promptly with any issues that arise and escalating any items necessary to the contract Manager to resolve.

The successful candidate will ideally have:
• Enthusiasm and drive to develop their career and grow with the business
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Experience in areas such as groundworks, paving, fencing, play installations, safety surfaces and soft landscaping.
• A good understanding of health & safety to ensure company policy and safe systems of work are adhered to by you and your team on a day-to-day basis
• First Aid certificate is essential however training will be provided if you currently do not hold.
• Experience in operating mechanical plant together with the relevant plant operator tickets such as NPORS/LANTRA/CPCS beneficial but training will be provided where needed.
• A full, clean driving licence is essential, with the ability to drive up to 7.5t vehicles, advantageous but not a requirement.

Salary is dependent upon experience with additional benefits such as the profit related bonus scheme & pension.

In addition to the salary there is added benefits of sick pay scheme, profit share & pension.

We undertake works for a wide range of clients such as schools, business parks and other public sector clients. We have a vacancy for a full time Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team.

The grounds maintenance tasks undertaken includes hedge cutting, shrub and rose beds maintenance, grass cutting to amenity areas, lawns and sports facilities including sports pitch markings.

We are looking for a colleague to join our team who has had previous experience in a ground’s maintenance environment. PA1/PA6a, NVQ and Chainsaw qualifications are desirable, but not essential, where required, we will undertake this training to attain those certificates.

A full, clean driving licence is essential

Rate of Pay £24,000 - £26,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications

In addition to pay there is a profit share bonus, pension, sick pay and opportunity for significant investment from the company for personal training and development with the ability to attain recognised qualifications.
